David Taylor grew up in the Atlanta, GA area with his father, mother and older sister. He was exposed to aviation at an early age by his father, Hank Taylor Jr., who was also a career pilot. In 2003, he started his career as an airline pilot with Delta Air Line’s regional subsidiary, Comair, at the age of 23, flying the Canadair regional jet.
Today, David has returned to live in the Atlanta area with his wife and son. He currently flies for Delta Air Lines as an Atlanta-based First Officer on the Boeing-737NG.
Having received multiple scholarships awarded through OBAP, as well as help from family and mentors, David enjoys giving back to anyone needing a helping hand. He spends his spare time serving his family, community, church, and aviation enthusiasts worldwide.
