Jean Oliver Mbog was born in Cameroon, Africa, the first of four children. At fourteen, he was sent to a catholic boarding school in Nancy, France. On his very first plane ride caught the aviation bug. From that point on, he knew he wanted to be one of them! By June 1998, he obtained his baccalaureate in mathematics and physics and was accepted in a two-year intensive course to prepare for competitive entrance examinations to high-ranked engineering schools.
In January 2000, Mbog was accepted into the Euro American Institute of Technology in Sophia Antipolis in the south of France. The E.A.I-Tech has numerous partnership programs with US colleges and universities; he took advantage of this great opportunity and was accepted at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach, FL in summer 2001.
Mbog is presently the co-chair of programs on the OBAP the Board of Directors. He is truly passionate about helping people, especially the next generation of aerospace and aviation leaders.
