OBAP’s exciting new Explore Aerospace (EA) program gives students the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of aviation and aerospace through a hands-on STEM-based curriculum from the comfort of home. Over the course of 12 weeks, students will learn from industry professionals, about principles of flight, aerodynamics, aerospace careers, meet guest speakers, go on virtual tours and so much more!

Space is limited. Applications must be submitted by February 15, 2021.

Each session will be facilitated by an Explore Aerospace Instructor and will cover the fundamentals of flight. Materials and educational resources used for this virtual experience consist of activity workbooks and interactive presentations. Upon successful completion, Explore Aerospace students will receive a one-year OBAP student membership, which includes opportunities to apply for OBAP scholarships and access OBAP programs and opportunities such as ACE Academy, Solo Flight Academy, Webinars, Tuskegee NEXT, etc. 

Through the generosity of our partners, limited fee waivers are available for students for whom the cost of this program may be prohibitive. Apply for the Explore Aerospace Program and the program fee waiver.

You may also consider typing it in MS Word or another text editor and cut and paste the content into the essay text block. 400 words or less.
