EXPLORE AEROSPACE

Each Saturday for 12 weeks

September 18 – December 11, 2021

OBAP’s exciting new Explore Aerospace (EA) program gives students the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of aviation and aerospace through a hands-on STEM-based curriculum from the comfort of home. Over the course of 12 weeks, students will learn from industry professionals, about principles of flight, aerodynamics, aerospace careers, meet guest speakers, go on virtual tours and so much more!

Explore Aerospace - Session 2: Beyond the Clouds, kicks off on Saturday, September 18, and will be held each Saturday for:

  • Students in grades 6-9: 12 pm to 1 pm EST
  • Students in grades 10-12: 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm EST

Each session will be facilitated by an Explore Aerospace Instructor and will cover the fundamentals of flight. Materials and educational resources used for this virtual experience consist of activity workbooks and interactive presentations. Upon successful completion, Explore Aerospace students will receive a one-year OBAP student membership, which includes opportunities to apply for OBAP scholarships and access OBAP programs and opportunities such as ACE Academy, Solo Flight Academy, Webinars, Tuskegee NEXT, etc.

Session 2 registration is now closed. Check back in January for details about the next session.
