Girls LAUNCH provides girls and women of all ages with interactive experiences and intimate conversations with female aerospace professionals to boost interest in the unlimited opportunities in aerospace at a young age.

Girls LAUNCH will feature:

  • Learning tracks for elementary, middle school, high school, and college students
  • Career stories video library
  • Instructional activity videos
  • DIY learning activities
  • Behind-the-scenes virtual tours, and more!
Women and girls of all ages are invited to attend this afternoon of exploration and inspiration.

Girls LAUNCH 2021

This year, Girls LAUNCH is bigger and better than ever! The 2021 event will be hosted on an immersive, interactive virtual platform, giving attendees the opportunity to learn, interact, engage and grow before the event and beyond!

Registrants will enjoy an action-packed morning of virtual tours, followed by an exciting keynote conversation with history-making NASA Astronaut, Jeanette Epps! Then, attendees can enjoy age-appropriate, hands-on break-out sessions, or connect with industry representatives in a small-group, virtual setting.

Registration is free and open to girls of all ages! Get ready to LAUNCH!

Jeanette Epps
Keynote Speaker

Jeanette J. Epps (PH.D.) - NASA Astronaut

Jeanette J. Epps (Ph.D.) was selected as an astronaut in 2009.  She completed astronaut candidate training which included scientific and technical briefings, intensive instruction in International Space Station systems, spacewalk training, robotics, T-38 flight training and wilderness survival training.  The New York native was a NASA Fellow during graduate school and authored several journal and conference articles.  Dr. Epps worked for Ford Motor Company where she received both a provisional patent and a U.S. patent.  After leaving Ford, she joined the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) as a Technical Intelligence Officer before becoming an astronaut.
