OBAP Courageous Conversations Series

An Aerospace Industry Town Hall
on Race in America: Part I

Recorded: Thursday, June 11 | 3 PM EST

Join OBAP Board Chair Vanessa Blacknall-Jamison, and leaders from Women in Aviation, Tuskegee Airmen Inc., National Black Coalition of Federal Aviation Employees, National Gay Pilots Association, Professional Pilots of Tomorrow, Sisters of the Skies, and Professional Asian Pilots Association and the Latino Pilots Association for a virtual town hall, where we will come together as an aerospace community for a conversation about the "racism pandemic" that is devastating the nation.

The killing of George Floyd and other high-profile violent events targeting African Americans have illustrated the complex constellation of issues facing our nation. This series of Courageous Conversations will attempt to address these issues head-on, and begin to develop short- and longer-term solutions to eliminating racial injustice within the aerospace industry, and in the communities where we live and work. We welcome ideas, questions, and thoughts as we join forces to create change.
