Donald “Joe” Souza

Donald “Joe” Souza is the Director of Materiel Readiness at Air and Marine Operations (AMO) Headquarters.  Primarily responsible for the execution of the AMO National Aircraft Maintenance and Logistics Support Contract and managing the contractor workforce.  Joined the US Customs Service air program in 1988 as a contract maintainer, worked in the civil aviation industry; product development, missionization/integration. Selected in 2012 as Aviation Maintenance Officer in the Southeast Region Office.  Promoted to Director 2016.

Todd Gayle

Supervisory Air Interdiction Agent Todd Gayle has worked for US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for over 24 years. He left home for the ARMY after high school where he served as a M1A1 tank driver during Desert Storm. After leaving the ARMY, he then applied his GI Bill towards his Associates of Applied Science in Professional Aeronautics from Gateway Technical College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Later, he became an agent for the US Border Patrol and worked on the ground for approximately 6 years until he picked up a pilot position with them. Since his employment with CBP he has flown and coordinated a variety of homeland security missions here and abroad. Agent Gayle holds multiple licenses and a type rating in both fixed wing and rotor craft with over 5,000 hours of flight experience.

He currently works out of El Paso, TX and serves as a National Recruiter for CBP Air and Marine
Operations.

Supervisory Aviation Enforcement Agent

Alan Kellogg

Alan Kellogg is a Supervisory Aviation Enforcement Agent with Air and Marine Operations, currently assigned to Recruiting and Applicant Care. He is AMO’s liaison to the CBP Hiring Center, Personnel Security Division and Credibility Assessment Division in support of the hiring process. Alan recently transferred from the Office of Professional Responsibility where he worked as a Criminal Investigator and Supervisory Polygraph Examiner. He’s been with Customs and Border Protection for seventeen years and has also worked for the Office of Field Operations, as a Customs and Border Protection Officer, and U.S. Border Patrol, as a Border Patrol Agent. Alan is a veteran of the United State Navy. He holds a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Psychophysiological Detection of Deception.

Aviation Enforcement Agent

Daynesha Bumanglag

Daynesha Bumanglag is an Aviation Enforcement Agent who recently transitioned from a Supervisory Detection Enforcement Officer position with Air and Marine Operations.  She is a previous Air Traffic Control veteran of the United States Air Force.  Daynesha holds a Bachelor’s in Professional Aeronautics and a Master’s in Business Administration in Aviation with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
